The mission of the International Education Program is to empower our community and our membership by providing educational resources, advocating for educational equality, and forming strategic partnerships that develop our next generation of leaders.

Through partnerships, exposure, mentoring, and more, Iota Mu Sigma promotes education to people of all ages as a way of success. We work with organizations that also align with this belief such as Service First Initiatives and support elementary, middle, and high schools through volunteer efforts.

Providing Scholarships

Iota Mu Sigma provides two scholarships: one for high school students and the other for current undergraduate college students. The Jimmie L. Williams Memorial Scholarship is for a graduating senior in the Grand Prairie ISD or Tarrant County. The James Williams Memorial Scholarship is for a current undergraduate student at University of Texas - Arlington or Tarleton State University. If you are a student that meets these qualifications, please apply below.

Iota Mu Sigma is committed to supporting members in advancing their education and developing skills that will further them in their careers. Through programs and leadership opportunities within the organization, members get much needed experience to take the next step to new heights.

JIMMIE L. WILLIAMS MEMORIAL SCHOALRSHIP

$1,000 scholarship is available for Male seniors attending any high school in Grand Prairie ISD or Tarrant County.

Due May 14th

JOHN WILLIAMS MEMORIAL COLLEGIATE SCHOLARSHIP

$1,000 scholarship each is available for a Financial Member of Phi Beta Sigma Chapters at the University of Texas at Arlington and Tarleton State University.
